However, Google is not on my good list. They are close to being hated as bad as Facebook. You all know how bad I hate Facebook. It’s more of a good loathe. This week I am talking about Google doing some bad things. I also talk about the unnecessary hate AMD seems to get. It’s weird. They are making some great hardware lately. Enjoy

Today’s Episode:

It’s happened again. Another company hacked. A hack or hacking is a  factor in business. No business is immune to it. However, Acer was the worst. A tech company not aware their system was compromised is pretty bad. A whole year! The hackers also got a lot of data too. Businesses have a duty to protect customer data. If they want to be in business. Businesses need to take these acts seriously and beef up their security. Another shameful act is from the government. They always want to spy on us more. They claim its for our safety, but, they have never made us safe. In fact, they were powerless to stop someone from killing 49 Americans. The government is never going to stop either. They know little about technology and still do. It’s time they cared about the 4th amendment. It’s time they start acting like they care about too.

Do you ever feel like marketing is becoming a daily event of catching up with new features, rules or programs coming out? I know I sometimes feel like that. The good news is, there are places like this to help. I also found businesses like Buffer and Hootsuite to be great resources too! It’s great to see Youtube creating apps for small businesses. This allows them to create their own videos or ask for help. Sometimes, SMBs do not have the time or energy to put in videos. Even though it is the most popular media consumed on the internet, it does take a lot of time. However, businesses should be figuring out how to do it well. There are so many apps out, you have options.

Anyways, let’s get the show start!

Twitter has Periscope, Facebook has Facebook Live, Google has Google Hangouts On Air, Blab, and Meerkat. Even though Meerkat is not as popular anymore, it’s still good to note it here. Business should take note and decide which platform would be best for the social media strategy. Business should not try to be on every single one. Pick the one that would give the best value for your long-term marketing strategies. Also, try to research them too. Listen to some popular personalities on each channel.

Digital Coffee and the search for the best live stream angle. Facebook has just added the live streaming feature for Android users, so now, we can finally live stream on Facebook. Has a dream come true? There are plenty of alternatives out there, this is just Facebook ruling the internet. I love and prefer Blab over all other offerings, but they all offer something different in a way. I also talk about the never ending wars of words about encryption. It is a hot topic. It’s sad to see that most Americans do not understand what is at stake. We need strong encryption. Yes, that could mean it could be harder to catch a terrorist, but our government has been terrible at it anyways. There’s more I talk about. Scroll down to find out more!

Digital Coffee brings the news to you in one coffee pot. Yes, we made it to the weekend, but, unfortunately, dumb politicians think weak encryption is a good thing. Show your support of bad laws by tweeting Jim Cooper. Strong encryption is needed, not weaker encryption. Anyways there are many more tech stories. This is what I discuss today.
