Twitter Needs Helps, Snapchat and Instagram are in trouble, and Bumble Censors

Twitter

It’s always a sticky situation when companies try to censor their users. It happened with Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. Now it’s Bumble’s turn. The CEO wants to ultimately censor the net because she somehow has the moral authority to do it. Banning one image does not make the thing go away. Banning an image does not make your community “safe.” I’ll discuss the ridiculous statements and how ignorant it sounds on this episode.

What I Talk About This Week:

  • Twitter Needs Help
  • Bumble Censorship
  • New Feature For Snapchat
  • Snapchat and Instagram get into trouble
  • How Bumble will censor you

Russian hacking

Today’s Episode

Russian hacking. It’s always big news! The media has a fascination with the Russia. I do think it’s time for them to break-up. Enjoy!

Hootsuite is a popular social media scheduling tool. It recently got into ads with its purchase of AdEspresso recently and now its buying another company. It’s an interesting time for the company. It also looks like Hootsuite and Buffer are going in different direction. Buffer is shaping to be more of a content management tool and Hootsuite is more about the ads and analytics side of the business.
