Digital Coffee needs a new compass! Yes, SXSW is going on now, but I am here giving you the tech news you need!
Online censorship is becoming the norm for governments. Every year we see more and more governments care less about privacy and free speech and look to “protect” it’s citizens. This is going on now. We need to stop now. I applaud Adblocker for doing a campaign on it, even though they are showing ads for it. It is a bit ironic, too. I am concerned for Europe. They are going down a path of censorship and their own people are ok with it. Not to mention, the US, is looking to go that way too. This should be happening, but my generation does not get what free speech really is all about. We do not care about researching the Supreme Court decision on speech and make up our own histories. It’s time my generation educates itself on this. Rant over!
